Youth & Little League Composite Baseball Bats

Youth/little league bats are the next step up from t-ball bats, and are designed to help young ballplayers get ready to play on the big fields. Youth baseball bats can vary in weight drops, but they typically fall within a range of -9 to -13.

Even though these bats are considered kids' baseball bats, they can also vary in their material makeup, such as composite, alloy, composite/alloy and even wood. Different youth leagues might have their own restrictions on composition, so it's important to know what those are before shopping for a bat.

While little league bats are meant to get kids used to hitting with a more advanced bat, they have one key difference from big barrel bats: the barrel. Youth baseball bats have a much smaller barrel, which isn't to say they're less technologically advanced. These bats are simply designed to be smaller and lighter for those smaller and lighter ballplayers. Like big barrel bats, little league bats come from the top bat brands like Easton, DeMarini, Louisville Slugger, Rawlings, Mizuno and Marucci.
