Caddo Series

This is Marucci’s entry-level glove perfect for new players and younger athletes. The Caddo series, named after Lake Caddo in Louisiana, has specific features to cater to the younger player. This is a lightweight glove that is easy to use. The full-grain cowhide shell requires little break-in. The EZ flex notch removes a portion of the leather by the wrist, making the glove easy to close for smaller hands. The Caddo Series comes in 11” - 12” with a 31” catcher’s model also available. The Caddo Series is a great choice for the developing ballplayer.

Krewe Series

This is another entry-level glove from Marucci aimed at younger players around 7-12 years old. The Krewe Series is named after the organizations that stage celebrations in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. It contains many features seen on higher-end gloves, but at a lower price point and scaled down to fit smaller hands. It is constructed from full-grain cowhide which is durable while not requiring a lot of break-in. The inner palm lining is perforated synthetic material to keep weight down and increase comfort. It also features Marucci’s M Type Fit,  adding an integrated thumb and pinky sleeve. This removes the bothersome thumb and pinkly loop straps on the outside of the glove and provides more cushion to the thumb. The Krewe Series has a narrow hand and wrist opening to fit smaller hands better. It comes in sizes from 11” - 12” along with a 32” catcher’s model.

Oxbow Series

The Oxbow Series is a great option for players moving into the next stage in their baseball development and needing a bigger, more durable glove. The Oxbow Series is named after a river in Louisiana and features full-grain cowhide leather for the shell of the glove and rawhide laces. This makes the glove more durable than the Caddo and Krewe Series but still does not require much break-in to be game-ready. This glove is a great choice for players 10-15 years old. There is extra leather in the palm for added cushioning along with Marucci’s M Type Fit providing integrated thumb and pinky sleeves with extra thumb cushioning. The Oxbow Series is available from 11.5” - 12.75” along with a first base and catcher’s model.

Ascension Series

The Ascension Series represents the opening offer from Marucci’s premium gloves. It is a great option for the pre-teen or young teenage player who wants a high-quality, lightweight glove. The Ascension Series is named after the Ascension Parish, founded in 1807 and one of the original nineteen parishes in Louisiana. This series features tight-grain steerhide shell leather which is both durable and lightweight. This leather does need some break-in to be game-ready. It features cushioned leather finger lining, a tapered hand stall, and moisture-wicking mesh wrist lining. It has Marucci’s M Type Fit providing integrated thumb and pinky sleeves with extra thumb cushioning. The Ascension Series is available from 11.5” - 12.5” along with a first base and catcher’s model.

Cypress Series

The Cypress Series is designed for the elite player with premium Japanese-tanned steerhide and professional-grade rawhide laces. This makes the glove strong and durable. The Cypress Series is named after the large cypress trees that grow in Louisiana. The Cypress Series allows you to get many different colors and web designs. There is sure to be a glove to fit your needs and style. The Cypress Series features a smooth cowhide lining with foam finger stalls, moisture-wicking wrist lining, and memory foam padding. It also has Marucci’s M Type Fit system with integrated thumb and pinky sleeves with enhanced thumb cushioning. The Cypress Series is available in sizes from 11.5” - 12.75” with multiple web options. There is also a first base and catcher’s model.

Capitol Series

The Capitol Series is the top-of-line gloves from Marucci, named after the Baton Rouge capitol building, the tallest capitol building in the United States. All Capital Series gloves are made from premium Japanese-tanned USA Kip leather to provide the best possible structure while still being lightweight. The lining is Cabretta sheepskin which is soft and luxurious. There is a moisture-wicking mesh wrist lining and dual-density memory foam padding. It features Marucci’s M Type Fit with integrated thumb and pinky sleeves and extra thumb stall cushioning. There are tons of different colors and web designs to choose from. Fielder’s gloves range from 11.5” - 12.75” with a first base and catcher’s model also available.

NightShift Series

The NightShift Series contains special limited edition releases from Marucci. The gloves are the brainchild of Marucci designer Eric Walbridge, better known as the Glove Cowboy. He uses the NightShift Series to showcase his creative glove designs inspired by culture within or outside of baseball. These gloves are often made in small batches and have a cult following in the baseball community. The NightShift Series gloves are each unique, but most share features with the Capitol Series. They often feature premium Japanese-tanned USA Kip leather and Cabretta sheepskin lining. These gloves are often extremely limited in quantity, so be sure to keep up-to-date with BaseballMonkey for each NightShift Series release.
