The 2027 A2000® M23SS is a 33.5” catcher’s mitt engineered for a modern approach to the position. An ultra-light build featuring the Half Moon web that’s a mainstay of our catcher’s mitts, this glove stands out for its emphasis on agility and framing.

Relative to other catcher’s mitts, the M23 features thinner toe pads around the pinky side of the glove. This design choice has multiple effects. The reduced bulk allows for faster hands behind the plate and reduces fatigue over the course of the game. It also encourages proper glove posture, with the lighter weight making it easier to keep the thumb underneath the ball and snap the glove to a level position after receiving the pitch–a key skill for pitch-framing.
